Aslani

The Aslani are a race mixing the features of humans and cats. Soft fur covers their bodies. They may all have the same general body type, or they may vary among themselves much as great cats do, leading to tall, lean, fast cheetah-folk, broad-shouldered, strong lion-folk, and leopard-folk and panther-folk in between those two extremes. Aslani can live just about anywhere in the Atlantean World, though they tend to prefer either plains or forests.

Aslani often have Disadvantages reflecting their feline nature. They may hate the water, or have reduced inches of Swimming. They may be very fussy about their food and their environment, insisting that things be “just right.” Some of them display a streak of independence, even stubbornness.

Their speed, agility, and senses make Aslani excellent warriors, hunters, and scouts. Those who live in cities sometimes take to roguish pursuits instead. Few become merchants or craftsmen; it’s not in the typical Aslani nature to pursue such trades, as they involve a lot of work, for very little pleasure.
